Removing brick slips from the wall is quite a job. Especially because in most cases the strips are cemented to the wall. So it is not only intensive work to remove it but also to dispose of it. Stone itself weighs quite a lot. A wall with brick slips measuring 5 by 2.5 meters quickly weighs a few hundred kilos of brick slips. This is therefore not easy to do with a passenger car.
